Zuma Beach

Zuma Beach, one of Los Angeles County's most popular beaches, is located between Westward Beach and Point Dume in Malibu. Its vast swath of fine sand is popular with families, and the beach quickly fills up. There is a strong rip current, however, lifeguards are on duty all year.

Zuma Beach is extremely popular among surfers, and the beach holds numerous significant annual surfing tournaments. The northern end is an excellent site for kitesurfing when the conditions are good. Beach volleyball and surf fishing are very popular, as is diving. The level sand is ideal for beach volleyball. Zuma Beach has been featured in many films and television series, so even those who have never been will recognize it.
