Hollywood Reservoir

Around the Hollywood Reservoir, there are various scenic hiking loop trails to choose from. On the pathways you can enjoy relaxing nature vistas and some of the best views of the famed Hollywood Sign. The Mulholland Dam and the artificial lake were built in 1924. It's located just west of Griffith Park in the hills.

For a more challenging hike, try the mile-long ridge track that runs along the east side of the lake. This dirt road leads to Canyon Lake Drive, where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the Hollywood Sign at the end of your journey.
