Detroit, established in 1701, is the state's biggest city. It is known as the Motor City and is located on the Canadian border. Detroit is a fantastic destination to visit, especially with its amazing assortment of Art Deco architecture, gorgeous shoreline, and vast and busy theater area. "Motor City" Detroit boasts a wide range of activities to ensure that guests of all ages have an exciting holiday.

Don't miss Historic Fort Wayne, a historical monument and fort built in the mid-1800s, the Detroit Historical Museum, where you can learn about local history, and Comerica Park, where you can watch exciting sports games or concerts. The Detroit Institute of Arts is a must-see on any sightseeing tour of this city. It has at least 100 galleries and an amazing collection of approximately 65,000 works of art.
